Another "photo out the hotel window", only from the past this time.
This is a street scene from my hotel window in Suez taken in 1981 on my Med. tour.
The camera was a Kodak Instamatic, 110 cartridge film. This is a scan of a print taken from the negative which I had kept stitched with thread inside an old bank account passbook (the small 110 negatives fitted perfectly) for 24 years.
This is one of the better condition photos from the trip, there are some green spots on this one, not as bad as on others, I have tried to remove them using Photostudio scratch removal but it only tends to blur and already blurred image, so I have loaded the original scan/print un-altered.
Thats the Suez Canal in the middle left. |
