Egypt, Sinai, the village of Dahab. Except that the place is well known for windsurfing and diving, it has kept a minimum of authenticity and daily life... if you just put your path out of the main line, local meetings may appear to you, like a proud Beduin alone in front of his red sea and the mountains of Saudia Arabia... the simple pleasure to sit in front of the sea should never be lost!

Of Arabia, I presume? :)
This is great, I can't decide if his stare is apathetic or disgruntled...was he aware of your intention?? Another simple pleasure of life, captured with spontaneity and care. There's an amazing calming effect from water, be it flowing from a river or falls, or just gentle lapping along the shoreline of a lake...he has good reason to sit and enjoy the solitude!
Nicely exposed, his white ensemble is not blown out by the light, and the colors rendered in the water appear completely natural. Technical details aside, a fine, candid moment along with a good connection to the subject...that non verbal human interaction, got it!

great portrait and...great title!
The water makes magnificent backdrop for the scene and simultaneously helps you to create so tranquil atmosphere oof the scene.
Also the timing seems to be perfectly chosen as the man looks traight into your camera.
