Photographer's Note
I know it’s a scene most people are familiar with, but I have waited 40 years for the chance to travel to Egypt and see the great pyramids; now my childhood dream is realised.

This view is from the southern end of the Giza complex looking to the northwest. It shows the three great pyramids, the three lesser pyramids of queens or consorts of the Pharaoh Menkaure and the entrance to the funerary temple in the foreground.
On the right is the great pyramid of Khufu and was the tallest of the pyramids at 146.6 m high. It was constructed around 2560 BC. The pyramid in the centre is the great pyramid of Khafre which was 143.5 m high and built in the 26th century BC. On the left is the pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the great pyramids at only 65.5 m high and was also constructed in the 26th century BC.
Three images stitched together using Autostitch and the levels adjusted.
In the WORKSHOP are 2 additional images of these great monuments.

Hello Chris,
I like this view : it is original, the composition is good, there is nobody in the picture and the composition is quite good.
But the clouds seems strange, as if they were not well stitched. You can see that weird effect on the clouds in the middle of the picture.
The two pictures in the workshop are good too.

Hi Chris,
You have done a good exercise of stitching here. The union between picts is perfect, so the final result looks great. Colours are vivid and brilliant and the whole pict is a worth to see one. At first I thought that it was a mirage...some sort of magical reflection of the pyramids, but I saw I was wrong.
Great photowork

Hello Chris,
I like panorama and theis one is really well managed as evidenced on the large version.
Moreover this kind of technic is very adapted to this subject.
Visit this place is a dream not yet realized for me, but it is on the list.
Yves.

Bonjour Chris,
Quand on est dans ces lieux c'est magique et ta photo restitue bien cette impression. Une telle photo n'est pas facile mais le résultat est magnifique.
Amicalement
Jacques
