Hello Jerzy,
Also this dromedary is enjoying the wonderful view on the pyramids.
Beautiful composition. Clear and sharp picture of the dromedary in combination with the dusty desert.

Fantastic shot Jerzy, what a backdrop to this to this camel. The shallow dof gives nice depth to the scene. Very nice work.

an attractive postcard from Egypt.Simple but interesting and well balance of composition.Lovely action of camel with its colorful decoration and sharpness. The faded background of pyramid and surrounding give sense of depth very well.

Far away from topics!
We all know topics about any country, city. . .
you have catched the spirit including some of the topics.
From my point of view a very elegant, well composed picture, good colours and contrasts and a superb composition.
Very well see and done.
Best Reagrads.

Hello Jerzy,
Nice!! Classical! Without being boring! Maybe a bit cliché, but who cares if a cliché is thát beautiful! :-)
I'm wondering how, for example, Paul and Stephen seem to see that this is either a dromedary or camel, without seeing the back of the animal! :-))
But being Egypt, Paul is right with the dromedary. There are not that many camels living in Egypt. Look here for the map of the living area of camels, and look here to see where the dromedaries live!
"The almost 14 million dromedaries alive today are domesticated animals (mostly living in Somalia, Sudan, Mauritania and nearby countries).
The Bactrian camel is now reduced to an estimated 1.4 million animals, mostly domesticated. It is thought that there are about 1000 wild Bactrian camels in the Gobi Desert in China and Mongolia."
Interesting!!
Greetings and have a good weekend,
Dennis

Two symbols of the Egypt together in this picture.
Good that you left the pyramids slightly out of focus

Great travel picture Jerzy! I am sure this one would sell like crazy in a travel stock agency. You made some clever choices here, photographing the pyramids through the eyes of that camel. ;) Very nice indeed.

Hi Jerzy!
Very well composed this picture...
Both the subjects are so well known, but the way you have created the scene is different and very nice!
TFS - congratulations!

Aah, so I am not the first. Well, I'm not surprised! But each take is a little different, even when the theme is the same. Nice job keeping the camel well lit despite the backlighting and the all-too-common haze. Regards, Ken.
