A classic view of possibly the most famous structures on the planet. Completed around 2500 BC, they are the only wonders of the ancient world that still survive today. Here I have captured them in the late afternoon sun, which makes the stone reflect a golden yellow colour.
In the foreground is the Pyramid of Khafre (Chepren) and behind is the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops). The further structure is actually the largest but does not appear so because it is built on lower ground. This picture was taken with the third and smaller Pyramid of Menkaure (Mycerinus) just behind me.

Hi Jonathan, This is a beautiful shot. The color and the contrast are great. The blue sky made a clear contrast to the huge Pyramids. The inclusion of the foreground donkeys made a good scale referent. An excellent composition.

Ton image classique est très belle et je ne me lasserai jamais de contempler ces pyramides. Très bon cadrage avec l'inclusion de ces chevaux dans l'angle droit.
Bien fait !

Great shot. very sharp.
More than the pyramids, it was the blue of the sky that catches attention.

A classical shot at the famous site. But I like some elements that bring some life in those eternal monuments.
First are the horses on the bottom right. They do a great job in filling the empty space of the picture.
I also note the impressive sharpness of your shot, the stones on the pyramids and the ground under them are in great details.

A good view of these two pyramids. The horses add a bit of humour to the photo. Good one. Thanks

It is difficult to show off the scale of these structures in a photo, the inclusion of the horses gives a sense of scale. You had some excellent lighting conditions for your stay, two weeks earlier we had rain and very hazy white light and bland skies in Cairo.

Jonathan, c'est classique mais très bien fait. Les deux pyramides font un ensemble bien structuré et les chevaux dans le coin donnent une idée des dimensions de ces monuments.
