This was taken in Tahrir Square just after Mubarak left and there was a short time of celebration of the recently acquired freedom of speech.
Not everyone was celebrating and this sign says "No-one understands anything at all". Though if any Arabic speaker can translate it better, please feel free to say.

Hi Sue. Overall, a strong photo. The political situation in Egypt seems confused. The way the people towards change is long and tedious. I can only say, well observed and presented.
Best rgds, Wolfgang.

The road to change is often long, bumpy, and not at all clear, and Egypt's situation is reflective of that right now. This shot drives that point home - a general and universal statement, and while it is clear that this man has a strong opinion, it is not immediately clear what that opinion is. Either way, you have a strong capture of him here, staring almost mournfully into your lens, with the Arabic script, both on his sign and in the BG, creating nice graphical elements. Thanks!
