[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a part of one of many palaces in Cairo.

Just before the sunset I got the chance to photograph this part, because the sun was really low at that time. If I had taken the picture earlier, there would have been too much shadow and the details would not have been visible. So: Timing the sun is important! :-).

The purple glow is also caused by the sunset. In the background you can still see the hills of the Sahara desert and if you look closely, maybe you notice that the stairs in this building resemble the ones in the drawings by Escher. Hence the name of the picture:

Sahara Escher.

So, this is my first TrekEarth picture, hope you like it. Greetings Arjuna.

Welkom op TE, en als al je verdere postings net zo mooi en goed zijn als deze dan mogen we zeker nog iets van je verwachten.
Technisch inzicht kwa belichting en compositievormen heb je wel degelijk, dus ben benieuwd wat je ons nog meer gaat brengen de komende tijd.
Dit is in ieder geval schitterend vormgegeven in een mooie lichtgradatie in de lucht...prima werk.
