I'd crop away most of the sky above the palm and the ground under the large rock and make this more of a panorama. Ideally shooting this so that the palm was in the far right of the frame would have made the framing more interesting (to me). You might try cropping away some of the right and see what you think. Sharpening will bring out detail in palm.

oh - I like the big, disapearing sky, it makes the feeling of emtiness and quietness even bigger.
This looks like a place to find peace of mind!

Whoa, where are the comments? looks like a very wide angle to make that bowed horizon but enhances the spaciousness of the landscape. I like it just as it is, the gradation of colour in the sky being feature enough in itself.

I love the picture but, like Bob, I think there s too much sky in it. Even if it helps to understand the sensation of a deserted place, it eats all the picture and the trees are fadded.
