Hi Gaby,

Lovely flower! I liked the way you've framed this picture. By placing it next to a leaf, you provoke more of a tropical feeling. Nice lighting as well. The picture looks a tad out of focused though, which is a shame. Beautiful image though. Thanks for sharing!

Something different from you for a change. Great to see exotic flowers from a place where they grow naturally. Excellent short DOF, and strong contrast between the flower and background.

Bonjour Gabi,
Once in a while you give us a beautiful macro shot of a flower. I love this composition, with the green leave framing the right side of the picture and the strong sharp contrast of the flower with the dark background. Yes, we can almost feel the perfum. Very well done!

For once I see a macro flower shot I really like. Most people just take the flower and that's very boring to see, Yours on the otherhand is very well composet with the green leaf and the brown branch behind

Cette fleur de frangipanier a de superbes couleurs. J'aime bien la façon dont elle est "posée" au bout de la branche, ainsi que la présence de la feuille qui ajoute une note de couleur supplémentaire.

Something very new from you. My favourite flower, gaby. i always used to have one in my hair when i lived in india - and the trees give them up so generously, they do not have to be picked. Mmmm I can smell their scent. Frangipani is also the national flower of Laos.
Nice composition with the split of the flower and leaf.

HI Gaby, We don’t get much of chance to see your pictures not featuring people. You are showing us the fine techniques you have for the close up shallow DoF shot. Nice contrast and excellent details. Well done.

bonjour Gaby, moi non plus ce n 'est pas dans mes catégories préférées, mais il faut avouer que cette photo est splendide! la fleur comme suspendue, et en arrêt, tout s'est arrêté, un instant!! elle est superbe de netteté, et belle composition avec le fait que nous voyons la feuille , très beau travail
