[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The setting was almost perfect- the setting sun reflecting off the white sand, the white foams brought in by Atlantic waves, the joyous children trying to surmount gigentic waves... Just had enough time to measure the background exposure to bring out the silhouette and rich details of the beach.
The children were restless and energetic.Their stance is not dramatic i know but this was the best I could manage. But truth be told, one can't control everything.. thats the beauty of candids...
Exposure adjusted in Picassa, and resized MS Powertoys.

Greetings Selim. I do love the subtle shades of colour in the water, sand and sky and the way these are contrasted by the silhouettes of the children and the bright reflection of the sun. A lovely composition. Salaam.Klaudio.

Incredibly simple but wonderfully evocative photo, that captures the essence of children's 'mucking around'. The silhouette is amusing and well balanced by the blazing reflected light on the surf at the end of the beach. A very effective piece of work, Selim.

hi Selim, fanatstic shot against the sun, the hue is simply wonderful, a bit golden, a bit sepia-like. i love how the kids are only black silhouettes, and they are caught full of energy.
