This is exactly what TE is about Jose. The quality is quite good for a 14 year old scan. And seeing the squalid living conditions is truly saddening. Saddening because refugee camps like this still exist in Africa. I thank you for posting photos like this.

Olá José,
No sentido de documentário fotográfico, esta está muito boa, pois mostra uma série de detalhes com uma certa precisão.
Por outro lado, como se vê tão bem as condições em que estas pessoas sobrevivem, é impossível olhar sem perguntar (voltar a perguntar): como é possível que isto tenha acontecido? Como é possível que se tenha continuado a repetir em outros lugares?

Por acaso li hoje num jornal que um indivíduo, um padre, foi condenado agora (2008) a prisão perpétua por incentivar este genocídio em 1994.

Mais uma vez, obrigado pela apresentação destas imagens. Não têm muito sucesso em termos de pontos no TE (o pessoal quer é paisagens e belos monumentos), mas eu acho que encaixam-se perfeitamente nos objectivos deste sítio.

Image of the end of the world... 14 years after I still hear stories of lost refugees, mostly Hutu, living and hiding in the forests of the Central Plateau... The end of the world is a long story, as it appears.
