[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the third in a serie to show you the elegance of African women. But it is quite different from the previous ones. This picture was taken in a privileged world (the MIBA recreative center)as compared to the unprivileged reality of the rest of Mbuji Mayi.

I was walking around when I met the local police sheriff and his family (3 son and 2 daughters)posing in front of a photographer.
I asked them if I could take a picture too, because they were so typically dressed for the circumstance("endimanchés" as we say in french!)... but, soon I realized that I was taking the "bread out of the mouth" of the local photographer (working with a very old analogic camera)...I promised to send the picture... but not before a long time so as to be sure that the local photographer will get paid for his work!

A rather static way of posing in front of the objective... but this was not my choice :-)

Ton image porte bien son nom. C'est vrai que l'image est très posée mais les mimiques de la plus petite fille valent de l'or.

Tres jolie triple portrait, j'iame beacoup l'arrangement des filles une a cote del'autre, presque olympique. Tres bon nettete et coleurs complementaires.

Not only are the girls and the woman very elegant, but the way you have captured them you have managed a very fine composition. I like the curved llines and the colours.

Salut Eric,

Une photo qui pourait faire Partie d'un magazin fashion. J'aime beaucoup voir les expressionS des 3 fEmmes de la famille, elles sont tous les 3 tres belles et dignes dans leur habit endimanches. Le fond avec la maison tradicional et le couleus en circle du plancher offre un excellent contraste de couleur avec leur habits balncs e rose clair.

Un joli portrait de ce trio, après avoir lu ta note je comprends que c'était difficile qu'elles aient un air naturel... Très intéressant malgré tout, le décor pas si chic malgré ce que tu aies écrit, le 'body language' de ce beau petit monde... Je préfère des photos de rue en fait, mais tout ce qui vient de ce pays me passionne, donc merci de l'avoir postée (j'aurais bien aimé voir le résultat du photographe local mais bien sûr que c'est impossible).

Super portrait de famille, la petite est à croquer avec son regard en coin! J'aurais souhaité que les personnages ne soient pas tous alignés, mais je sais qu'il ne faut pas trop en demander dans ce cas.
