[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This strange hut is actually a silos for dates. Palm trees in the background produce abundant amounts of dates which need to be dried before transport and selling: the silos is built in such a way that hot, dry desert air can flow from it's base (elevated with respect to the sand) up to the fruits which fill the starnge container. This place is a oasis in the middle of the Tibesti range, in northern Chad. It took us almost a week travel from the capital, across the sahara desert to reach this oasis, which is literally in the middle of nowhere.

Hello!!!

I like much the composition of your photo. But I think the colours need some adjustments. I'm gonna post some workshop soon. So be prepared to compare it:)

Great shot, Dario- very crisp and clear, and such an interesting subject- I would never have guessed what it was but for your note. To me it looks like a giant hat! :)
