Photographer’s Note

A shy young girl, around me while I took picture of pygmies.
Unfortunately, as it's a snapshot and I'm a (very) beginner in photo, I've cropped too much when I took the picture...

Bonjour Yves.
Malgré le cadrage trop juste, le cliché est magnifique. La lumière, le contraste, la saturations des couleurs... Vraiment superbe. C'est une bonne idée de prendre la photo de cette petite fille si mignone.
J'aime vraiment beaucoup ce cliché.

Scene tres rare parmi toutes les photos ici dans le sens qu'on rejette ce genre de situation pour une ou l'enfant sourit en regardant la camera de face. Au contraire tu t'es avanture la ou tout le monde recule et le resultat est surprenant. C'est bien entendu ce petit oeil qui assure le succes de ce cliche fabuleux. Tres bien vu. I like it. I've found (definitely a [very] beginner as well, however) that often omitting the top of the head can actually be a good thing--possibly a little bit more missing would even help this picture. Cropping a little bit more off of the top and a little bit off of the right edge would leave the left side full and cause the viewer to follow her eyes down and to the left. I might have no clue what I'm talking about, but when I used two pieces of paper to simulate the proposed crop I liked the result. I took the right side all the way in to just right of where the top of the shirt intersects the top of her arm. A great shot, no matter how you cut (or crop) it!

bonjour Yves, alors plus de photos? je retrouve celle ci qui me plait beaucoup par la position de cette petite fille timide ou bien le soleil la gêne!!! les couleurs sont chaudes, peut être pas assez de différence entre le fond et sa peau, mais c 'est une photo réussie
