Hi Yves. This is a nice photo with beautiful collors and a lovely child. Personally I make this photograph generally in vertical positions. Can you explain me your reason.

I like this portrait very much, Yves, the subject is stunning. The DoF is perfect, throwing attention on the subject and the positioning just right of centre is good. Persoanlly, I would have prefered it if the head was not so verticle and the gaze not so straight into the camera. Portaits where the subject stares straight at the camera are never so satisfying, I feel. I agree with the note of Frans, below. I have always prefered the 'portrait' position for portraits. But since I joined TE I novice the the 'landscape. position is more popular, so I have followed this.
