Great light... excellent definition. The frame gives more sharpness to the photo. Just don't like the font used in the theme... but it's consistent with the other photos of the Face's theme.

Congratulations

Hi Jerzy,
I like your post processing, I love this Nikon gear, I hate the smoking habits :o((
Cheers my friend
Marc

Jerzy-

Good light, especially for a "found" situation. The arm is over exposed, but fixable is you shot RAW.

Nikon, YEAH!

Smoking, BOO!

Love the hat!!!

Not crazy about the off-center framing, it might be close to TOS violation. Hopefully no one will complain. I guess it works for your "faces 2008" series. Just a personal preference really.

~Vic~

This is really fantastic portrait shot Jerzy!
Perfect profile view...amazing light...very fitting black and white!

wishes,
Thomas

Hi J.

In my opinion, one of your best B&W portraits for sure.

The effect of the smoke is...impressive!

Witaj Jerzy.

Mmmm.... Nikon... he's a clever man.
Really you're also a clever man. At least this photo says you're a smart photographer.

I like how you managed the light and the POV.

Well done.

Hi again..
Another time the light gives the feeling of warm afternoon in peace(even if it was morning..).Very good the smoke, great effect to blocking out the dark side in the shot and give it a grey light. You have put the Nikon man in the right place in the shot. This one is really a good one.Congratulations.
Regards,
Sonsoles.

Hi J!
I did read the title as "Nikotinist" (from nicotine, nikotyna)!
I like the light on his face, but not on his hand.
Greetings,
F

Dammit - smoking IS cool! Why did I ever give up? Mind you, I can run faster now...
This is a great portrait Jerzy - I like everything about it, except that harsh light on his hand. The light everywhere else is superb, and the play of light and shadow, the smoke, gives this a lot of atmosphere. A fine piece of work.
Someone needs to tell him to lose the camera brand strap (not cool!) - ruins his image. I like the plain Domke ones myself.

Cheers,
Ben

Nikon fikon istotny jest obietikon i ģeb. W zasadzie to odwrotnie powinno byc.
Bardzo fajny kadr ciut"przejarany" IMHO.
Pozdrawiam

Hello Jerzy,

A great portrait where light is king. I am sure that you could open a portrait exhibit soon, and I guarantee it will bring a lot of success and sound.
Keep going - Hugs - Izzet

A very strong portrait, Jerzy, and this time B&W is a real enhancer. I don't mind the OE on the hand (I was trying to imagine a crop, but then the balance and the expression will be affected). I believe we should be careful with the use of creative frames and titles on it, for a long while my eyes kept going to the "Klaus" written there, instead of concentrating on the shot itself. Regards, Daniel

Perfect manly portrait. Very good light and framing. Good snap of smoke.
