looking north Photo

Photographer’s Note

Ponta do Sol is the most northern point of the archipelago Cape Verde.Taking a boat from here going north ,you`ll meet the Acores after about 2500 kilometers.
It`s late afternoon and I`m sitting in the restaurant O`Veleiro,my favourite place in this village and you can see the old harbour and my POV for this shot:last light

The warm late afternoon light has brought out the colours well here, especially in the houses and seawall.
The seaweed and boats provide a welcome dash of bright colour and contrast well with the more muted colours in the rest of the scene.
Good composition too.

Bonjour Andreas,
agréable scène marine, qui ressemble à s'y méprendre à des côtes bretonnes. Une ligne d'horizon un peu trop centrée verticalement.
J'aime l'opposition des tons bleus du ciel avec les couleurs chaudes des rocailles.
Excellente exposition. POV et cadrage réusssi.

ich fühl mich so hoffnungsvoll für Asien verloren, obwohl ich nur Thailand und Bali (und Singapur) kenne. Aber wenn ich diese Szenerie sehe, bekomme ich fernweh. Wunderschönes Licht.

Looking north or south, Cabo Verde is always beautiful. This is the conclusion after all the photos you already shown us. Very good picture with nice colours and a great POV. The light on the right is perfect.

Very pretty sea/landscape. The clouds shadow gave a ideia of storm comming, with you see the backgound clouds this ideia is incresed.
