Photographer’s Note

This shot is taken from the black lava sand beach of Tarrafal,the biggest viilage on Sao Nicolao island.
At 1st of may nearly everybody went to the beach for picnic.The other days the beach was mostly empty.
When the kids saw me taking fotos,everybody wanted to get photographed.Yesterday I sent some fotos to them,also from their daily beach soccer.

Eingefrorenes warmes Wasser, hier kein Widerspruch! Wunderschöne Farben machen Dein Bild zur Augenweide, und die Begeisterung des jungen Mannes ist prima eingefangen.

Hi Leo - I like the light and the nice textures and depth in the wave, that makes a pretty thick white strip in the middle of the blue waters, by the way it separates them into two different parts. The kid there is funny, but his main role here IMO is to emphasize the light, even producing a vague reflection. Regards, Daniel

Excellent action picture. The wave looks very impressive here, vey nice textures and very good sharpenes. Also I like the contrast of the colors here, blue, white and brown. Great sun light and shadowds on the skin of this kid. Very good shot, Bravo!

really full of joy :) fresh and bluuuue. Good natural deep blue live water, sharp and clear. Though maybe you could compose him in right corner to save diagonal water flow
