Photographer’s Note
Flight VR 5311 with TACV (Trans Aero Cabo Verde)
goes from Sao Nicolao to Sal.
This was a wonderful flight, verry low and lasting only 40 minutes and only 15 passengers, booked.
And I was lucky to have a verry clean window.
Here you can see how dry The islans Sal is.
I had a fantastic POV,first row, direct behind the copilot. You can see it in the workshop.
He and the pilot stored the luggage themself and when the copolot entered the plane he had to climb over me to reach his seat.

Hello Andreas,
jolies couleurs, tu étais pendu sous l'avion ?
J'aime beaucoup admirer les fonds marins, leurs différences de teintes. Les jeux d'ombres des nuages sur le sol.
De belles lumières et une belle impression de relief au sol.
Compliments.
Daniel.

Hi Andreas,
A beatufiul shot from aircraft! I'm amazed at the technical quality you've here. The window must be really clean! I'd love to ride one of these little planes. BTW that colour blue is so good here.

Hallo Andreas!

Hi Andreas,
From a flying object;you derived such a fantastic POV. Merci, merci
Instant hit like instant coffee. The barren land gives the looks of a giant coffee colured tortoise with flat surface and big closed eyes.
Admire the colors and the perfect contrast.

... and this was a wonderful flight, I can see this. Love the dark sea together with the barren land. I can imagine how it went the pilot packing and all that ... this is how it goes in smaller aircrafts.

Hallo Andreas,
Your POV it gives the privilege you to catch a spectacular aerial image. You knew to take advantage of this circumstance, and you have taken a good photo. It has great sharpness, you have worked well with exposure, and the colors are very good. The frame with the beautiful landscape of the island, the sea and the sky with some clouds, he is fantastic, and the inclusion of the engine of the airplane is a very good detail.
Great shot.

Josep

Hallo Leo
What an amazing shot! You're very lucky on that flight and you grabbed very well the opportunity.
The photos in WS are also interesting. I guess this airplane is a Twin Otter, smaller than the ATR that I posted.

Beautiful photo once again Leo, with great sharpness and definition, like if the aeroplane window didn't exist. Cabo Verde is one of the places i would like to visit sometime (lucky you!).

Hey Leo,
Image quality is perfect, image appears to be taken out from the window...unless it's UV & polarized! The colour of sea & shore is brilliant, while the land looks dry & deserted. Fantastic capture dude!

Hello, Andreas!
Very good idea to put a plane engine into the cadre - it really underlines, that it is a photo taken from the aeroplane. Besides, beautiful colors, clear and sharp image. I like the shade of the propeller(?) in the upper left corner.

This is a great shot Leo, and considering that you shot it through the window its amazingly clear and well defined.
The inclusion of the aircraft engine gives depth to the scene, and I particularly like the blurred propellor which is just about visible.
Good work.

Hi Andreas,
What a marvellous POV you had here. You did well to capture this degree of clarity for a shot through the window. I like the lighting, the vast vista, and the shadow and lighting effects. There is good depth, with the viewer discerning the rise and height of the little mountain. Well captured, Andreas.

Hey Andreas,

Hi Leo!
Usually it is difficult to make a good shot from the window of a plane, but you have done it to show us a picture that is uncocievable from the ground or sea.
Excellent result!

Hi Andreas,
very good shot from a plane, thank's to the window cleaner man ;-)
Nice view over this isle, it seems very deserted.
The reactor adds a good depth.

Hi Leo
I love shots taken from a plane provided the framing is OK…I tried that around a month back. This is perfect…we can see the island, the shape of it against the blue sea & the sky. One cannot get such wonderful POVs except from a plane. It’s excellent how your framed the shot with the fuselage on top & we can even see the whirring propeller blades….wonderful!

I am amazaed at how well this image has turned out through the window of a plane, I always have the misfortune of sutting by an filthy dirty window when I fly over interesting places.
I like the shadows, the colours and of course your privillaged POV

Hi Andreas
What a stunning blue sea blending well with the turquoise waters. The coastline is nicely delineated and gives the shot amazing depth. Beautiful light. The inclusion of the jet engine is a good contrast, and frames the shot too. Well done.
