[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Twenty minutes after we met that little girl I already introduced you, we entered the Peul village. After a 4 hour drive from Douala and leaving its oppressive water saturated atmosphere at 30°C, it was a great relief to discover that cool place. The walk was certainly not easy but coming across fresh rivers and waterfalls, contemplating round green hills and larges spaces was a real reward.

We noticed that Peul families were gathered by compact groups of house surrounded by croppings with beautiful vegetables. There area is an old volcanic chain so the Peul people benefit from a very fertile environnement with deep green grasses for their cows and perfect grounds for their croppings. I've read it's quite unusual for Peul people to stick to a specific place but I guess that the great environnement was one reason for this choice.

The Peul families were really welcoming and after some smiles and tries to chat, they allowed me to shoot as many portraits as I asked.
