[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika" ("God Bless Africa" in the Xhosa language) is a hymn composed in 1897 by Enoch Sontonga, a teacher at a Methodist mission school in Johannesburg, South Africa. The hymn is the national anthem of Tanzania and Zambia. It was the anthem of ANC since 1925, and part of South Africa's national anthem since 1994. It is also the former anthem of Zimbabwe and Namibia. Actually it's considered as the anthem of all the continent.
Fishermans sing a himn like this before sailing.
The shot was taken in South West Province, the fertile region bordering Nigeria.
To the west of Limbe, a pretty little port, there are a number of beautiful beaches (some of them feature in the film Chocolat). The fine sand is dark brown, created from ancient lava flows from Mount Cameroon.

Atmosphere tres douce et apisante sur cette image. avec ce bateau qui croise devant ce groupe d'iles. Je vois "color" dans les attributs de cette image, est-bien ainsi ou l'as-tu passe en noir et blanc?

Bonsoir Alberto,
Je trouve la forme de ces îlots (volcaniques je suppose) très extraordinare surtout avec cette végétation qui pousse dessus, alors qu'on penserait plutôt à un tas de cailloux!
J'aime cette lumière (qu'on peut obtenir aussi en Bretagne) qui mélange le sombre et la lumière dans une atmosphère un peu irréelle.
