[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the most famous place in Cameroon : the Ekom waterfalls.

These waterfalls became famous after the movie "Greystock" which were partly filmed here. These are 80m high and may present to flows at the rainy season like today or one even one larger flow if the rain is really heavy.

I went there today for the first time and I must confess we were really lucky since it is quite unusual to get rays of sunlight like today. The sky was dark but we benefited from a good shaped track to drive to this place which is 8 km from the main road.

We also could walk down for 20 minutes to get closer in a deep green rainforest track. Nevertheless, it was not possible to reach the feet of the waterfall since the waterspray was getting thicker and thicker.

Un point de vue assez impressionant, le regard commence par les chutes et suit la riviére, c'est bien amené. Les détails du ciel sont trés bien aussi.

Great shot Steven. A very dramatic looking photo with the dark, brooding sky, dirty water of the falls, mist and lush Cameroon greenery. Color and saturation are perfect. Composition even more so.

Bonjour Steven,
Une image impressionnante avec une belle composition. Le flot boueux qui jaillit de la falaise associé au ciel noir menacant forment vraiment une atmosphère dramatique du plus bel effet.
L'endroit doit vraiment être impressionnant !
