Photographer’s Note

During our visit of the Kollo royal concession, we met these women selling potteries and working to their everyday tasks while men seem to all be out somewhere, either working in the fields or resting and talking under some tree's shade as often in african societies...

Such a beautiful tonally rich image Eric - I like the 'forward loading'of the composition to the right - it's so nicely just out of tune with a lot of classical compositional possibilities here that it strikes and original note - it's a funny small nitpick but it somehow bothers me a little that you caught the pot far left - a little more or not at all and I might not have minded......just me!!!

beautiful tones Eric, her skin shines ebony. I also like how the older woman gives the floor to the younger. I wonder why you didnt crop a little more to the left and taken away the half of pot, would have been really easy.
