Beautiful boy, portrait, Eric. Lovely tones and bokeh in the back, the boy's features are soft and ever so intelligent. Love his peaceful gaze at you, his focussed attention.
Why no more comments???

Hello Eric. A beautiful and expressionful Portrait. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Eric,

You're really going straight for my heart with these shot, aren't you?! And you're off for holidays I see! Where to will you be going? Sounds nice. I might be on and off as well in the coming 10 days.
Love the portrait, the gaze at you, nice soft tones, just off center. Nice one... 'Bokeh', wondering what Sasa means with that one. Some photography-slang I just do not yet know ;-).

Greetings!
Dennis

Hi Eric,
Really a very good portrait, more than just a 'photo'.
Regards
Gunnar

Oh there is so much caught in this moment Eric - that face could go in so many different ways - stunning moment - his face is really alive and poised for a reaction but also questioning.......and maybe not to react at all!

Have a good vacation.

best wishes kev

beautiful, bright and tender portrait of a beautiful boy.

Beautiful picture! Beautiful kid!

Hi Eric,
Maybe it is just me, but such portraits i would like to see straight in front of me. Now i think it's a bit to much to the left, but that is just me...forgive me ;-)
His eyes have such a deep impact on me that i forgot to write the first few seconds. I wonder what's there in his mind. His face is beautiful, or do i have to say that you took it in great light? Whatever, for me this portrait is very touching and i am impressed by the quality of the photo, thanks to that 50m/m prime lens.
A real beauty...excellent work..!!!
Regards, Henk

A hard skin to color to photograph, but I think the side lighting technique has worked well here given the spontenaety. The whites in the eyes really stand nicely too.

dave
