Burkina Faso being a landlocked country extending to the Sahelian region, the region of the world of the driest, the water is one stakes of the most important for the populations and the activities which are dependent on it. Indeed, the economy Burkinabe being largely based on the agriculture(farming) and the breeding for purposes of food(supplies) of the populations and the export, the water is a fight of everything in daytime because of the dry climate and of little of pluviometry. Moreover, of all the territory of Burkina Faso only 0,1 % is covered with water.

They look cheerful in spite of their heavy loads. This is a nice snapshot of daily life in rural Burkina Faso. I spent a mont there more than 30 years ago (when it was Upper Volta) and I have very fond memories of a poor but kind and inspiring people.

This is a lovely photo of this group carrying their loads. I like the different heights with the smallest one visible at the back. Exposure and sharpness are very good. An interesting note too.
Kind Regards, Ann

The children in most African countries work very hard. In this situation children are carrying water on their heads. It is typical for African countries but the load is very heavy.
Very good shot of daily life with great composition. Perfect quality of the photo as well colors, light ands sharpness.
