For those who remember the chief resting under the baobab, you'll recognize the scene in the background...

This young girl about 10-12 was pulling very hard on the hair of her friend to plait them. She had some very professional gestures and went on plaiting although she was busy looking at the camera. We were all very impressed with her skill!

Interesting. Hairdresser and backside tortuous roots.
I think that your POV is little bit too high or too far?
Little bit problem with foreground bough (and right side hand), but i like background man who is laying on wiggle roots. Over hairs.

Fantastic capture. Especially i like the shooting angle of photo(shhoting from the top of themis brilliant idea) also BG is wonderful but the hand at the right side of photo is a little bit dissapointing.

hello Eric, j aime bien l attitude de l enfant, mais ce qui me derange ce sont les deux mains blanches sur la droite, tu vas dire les aubry et les mains....bon pas de soucis entre nous, autrement une tres belle lumiere malgre la chaleur

Ahahah, Eric, j'adore le chef du village qui se vautre sur les racines en arrière plan, pendant que les apprentis coiffeurs s'activent. C'est une belle scène où je ne regrette que le cafouillage sur la droite où un morceau de doigt et de coude n'ont vraiment rien à faire.

I like this composition, with the people scattered around in the frame... maybe the variety in their attitude and poses is a what draws me into this shot.

another precious take, my friend.
the roots in the background (and the man resting on them) provide an exact balance to the scene that goes on in the foreground. whisically managed.
both the hand and the foot in the yellow slipper are distracting but the image is stronger than those.

alors bravo pour tes photos du Burkina
j'adore cette scène spontanée, l'attitude et le regard de ce gamin , avec au fond cet impressionant Baobad qui me rapelle le Mali...
enfin tout celà crée une image très dynamique.
