Photographer’s Note
Taken on the fringes of the Kalahari Desert around midday. Vultures circle overhead, rising on thermals they await any sign of an opportunity to feed. The tree and the sun flares make the photo more interesting and hopefully emphasise the heat and how barren the area is.
