[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the most typical views in the savannas: The bush and an isolated "umbrella tree" (one of the several species of acacias). This picture was taken in Botswana's savanna.

The picture was taken with an analogical reflex camera, and was scanned from the original. I've added a sepia filter. My goal was to increase the sensation of dryness and isolation of the tree. I visited Botswana in Nov.2006, and I can confirm that is one of the best places to feel yourself alone in the world.

Hola Victor, tu foto es muy buena, la composicion es estupenda y me parece excelente la conversion en sepia. Talvez si hubieras contrastado mas las nubes hubieras tenido un mejor efecto en la toma.

This is a nice view of the african savannah. El arbol se ve muy bien aunque piesno que los colores talves no son los mas apropiados para esta escena. Me gusta la composicion pues es simple, con pocos elements para darle mas enfasis al arbol...Veo una linea oscura arriba del arbol pero no distrae la vista para nada. Gracias Victor.

Bueno, y qué decir de esta imagen?
Ese tono 'seco' que has logrado, el horizonte firme y la forma de la acacia perfecta!

La soledad no está tan mal, pienso que ayuda a mirar el interior de cada uno.
