Photographer’s Note
An unusual sight: a lioness swims across a river in order to follow a heard of buffalos. In general big cats don't like water, they try to avoid it as much as possible. So why this lioness seems not to be too bothered by a swim? Because this is part of a special price of lions living in the earth of the okavango delta. If you are interested in finding more about these lions and what makes them special you can take a look at my other picture, previously posted on TE.

Hello Andrea,
I am very interested by your photo, as I will spend 2 weeks in Botswana to make photos of animals. Especially the ones of lions in Okavongo as their life is very special versus the common lions.
This one is sharp and well put the animal in its environment.
Yves.
