Photographer’s Note

It seems that sunsets and sunrises have become a bit of a cliche on this site. However, I feel that I have to post at least ONE of my trip to Botswana :-)

The day before I left for the Khutse Game Reserve in Botswana, somebody told me that I will see the best sunsets and the best night skies there. She was right.....

Since I entered the world of sunsets (it happened yesterday) I now look at sunsentys in a different way. Sunsets might be very boring if there is nothing special inside. What I like in this shot is the "flow" of the clouds, and their depth. Colors are amazing, too. Very well done, Henry.

Maybe just because the sunsets of this kind is always impressive that's why we have so many of them. This one is good in the powerful coloursetting. It would have been even better with an interesting silhouette in the front I think.

Nice one. I'll have to look for one myself..
I am usuaslyy not a big fan of sunset.. This one is nice partly due to the flat landscape.

Very very good idea to post this one Henry. I dont care that some think that these are cliche, I like them. And this one is very beautiful. The colors are vivid, powerful and very nice to look at. I like that we can see some trees on the bottom. Nicely done. It really must have been a great trip.

It is unusual to see a flat horizon. Interesting. The variations of colours of the sky is very engaging. The wide angle also shows us the big expanse of this site. This is a good shot for its simple composition and beautiful colors.

Des couleuur surprenantes pour ce soleil qui sentent la chaleur du sol !
En ce qui concerne le cadrage je pense que la partie basse pourrais etre reduite un peu.
Je rejoins jrjohanson , un petit quelque chose sur l'avant, une personne aurais donné de la vie a cette image mais en même temps on a les yeux rivés sur le ciel alors tout va bien ;-)

Henry what a beautiful sunset. You did it very well. Superb colors. The trees at the horizon are a good detail. Mabey you can crop a little bit of the bottom. But that is personally. Good shot.
