Photographer’s Note

Some pictures are chosen for esthetic reasons and some for the story, even if quality is not excellent. The story of this scanned photo is of an albino Botswana native with her normal- color son. The sad story is that she will not survive much longer because her shield-less albino skin is already ruined from sun exposure. Note that although she is fairly young her skin is wrinkled like an old lady.

Hello Isaac,

I saw this picture and even if I thought that it would have been better to include their feet and maybe leave a little more space on top. It attracted me a lot, I wondered why this image had no points. After reading your story, I decided to skip my suggestions and give it two points. For me, the most valuable part of this picture is the message of how we take a lot of things for granted and people like this don't have many choices.

This picture is very good it reflects the life and the fact. It shows that the life of these people is very tough and we cannot stand that living for even a day!
