Photographer’s Note

The western side of the Okavango Delta is in a corner of paradise.
We camped on an island serenaded by the sound of hippos and bell frogs breaking the night silence.
We got there by motorboats, cruising along the narrow papyrus-lined channels of the Delta.
On the way, Wireless, our guide, was searching all the time for exotic bird life while we were absorbing the stunning landscape of this area, full of waterlilies.

You won me over with your title...lol.

A good shot, the lily pads are different than most i've seen in Asia, with there spiky edges. The angle is very strong showing the shoulders and up of the man.
