I saw this bird in our first walking in the middle of Okavango Delta. I don't know its name but I am happy to get its image. It was the end of the day, a very hot day, around 35 Celsius. I was in a very, very bad humor because I was thirsty, dirty and I was obligated to stay inside tents because there was a gap in my accommodated tour. I was surrounded by strange people while people of group was in another region, inside luxurious tents. haha.
PS: According with information of my friend Daddo: "This is a hornbill, apparently in South Africa it's called the flying banana by the locals because of the bill's shape and colour. "

Hi Jorge. This is a hornbill, apparently in South Africa it's called the flying banana by the locals because of the bill's shape and colour. Don't know if you have seen my photo from S.A. where two of them are attacking their reflections. Subtle light and a nice composition. Regards. Klaudio.

Well taken, interesting bird, a photo well balanced with these branches, good light on the head.

Superb snapshot. Thanks to the soft light the bird's plumage is rendered incredibly well, with great feather detail. I particularly like the differential focus, with the bird standing out against nice clean sky background. Excellent bird photo!!!
Very well done.
p.s. Sorry for delayed comments, but I do not have internet access every day.

Nice photo for being in bad humor! I like the use of your zoom to isolate the flying banana from its surroundings. It somehow matches the branch it's perched on, nice camouflage.

Excelente registro!
