This is the shout of an hippopotamus, in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, during the dry season (November). The hippos are very territorial animals, specially with the wet places. Don't put yourself between an hippo and the water: You'll have problems for sure!!
The picture is taken with a camera of a friend (an analogical Nikon), and it's scanned from the original. |
