Vultures tree Photo

Photographer’s Note

Close to a road in the Chobe Natural Park, around 20 vultures were waiting on some trees. We were suspecting an animal should be dead just close.
In fact, seeing vultures on this tree without leaves made me thinking about some cow-boy movies and about Lucky Luke comics.
As the photo was against the light and already with low colors, I decided to translate it fully in B&W.

Bonjour Yves,
je regarde toujours les photos africaines et celle-ci est plus que remarquable: la disposition de ces vautours est bien intéressante; le noir et blanc que tu as choisi avec ce ciel qui semble annoncer la pluie donne du "pathos" à ton image.

Execellent Yves, what a shot. I think it has an old time feeling because of the B&W but there is no doubt about what is going on here, the group waiting for dinner...
