Photographer's Note

We passed the night in a lodge, surrounded by the desert, not so far from the highway.Accomodations were nice, but not fabulous. In the place we found a "Walking with the San people" tour. They tried to recreate the way of live of natives, showing this for us. Each personage told a little history in its native idiom (full of clicks)and this was translated for us, showing the problems they faced, the medicines they had, how to be protected of the lions, how to find water, how to keep it, how to make fire, etc...
Sam people is considered like the oldest people in the world. These people in the image were recreating the way of life of the natives in the desert and probably the older lived this way some years ago.

.......................................
