Our tour had a reservation to Planet Baobah resort, one of the most amazing places to stay in southern Africa, unfortunately our reservation was cancelled and our group couldn't visit the place, what cause a turmoil in the group of tourists. To put the nerves in a lower level the guide stoped at entrance of the road to that resort and we were able to take some photos. I will post another two after this one.
Saint Exuperry wrote the Little Prince and curiously there is a link between he, the baobab and Brazil. During the big war he was working like a messenger in Natal, Brazil, when he knew an African baobab that exist there, he became impressed by the tree and put it in the history he was writing about a little prince lost in an asteroid.

Strange statue, but a unique one, Jorge.
The story told is also an interesting one, though it happened in many places - hope you were compensated with better place.
Fine details collected.

One photo is hardly consolation for not being able to stay there. Why was the reservation cancelled, did the tour company not pay their bills or did the resort find higher paying customers? I hope you found a nice place to stay.

what a chaos and what a mess you are describing in your notes!
But the accompanying photo is nevertheless quite interesting. The photographer’s perspective is outstanding. My compliments!
