Photographer's Note
We went on a "Kalahari Bushman Walk" while staying at the Deception Valley Lodge. They demonstrated Bushmen hunting and survival techniques. Here they are lighting a fire by rubbing sticks together.
It's a lot, lot harder than we thought!

i liek the low warm light in this image. The smoke adds another interesting effect. I would love to see other portraits of these men because they look very interesting . Nice image of a different way of life!

Excellent composition and color rendering. A better scanner would help you to put this photo in another dimension.

Hi. I like this picture very much. I think that it deserves much points that are accumulated here. First of all I like the colours and the composition, but what I really like, is the fact that beside walking on two legs, also making a fire has distinguished us from other species of mammals (or if you like - animals). This is like making a picture of prehistory. TFS.

This is a wonderful photo, well framed and with great intensity captured in the expressions of the two men.
