| This was taken at a fetish market in Ketou, Benin. A fetish stems from the religion of Voodoo which is practiced in many parts of Benin. Fetishes can be used for protection, medicines, among many other things. The man who was running this fetish market tried to charge me $2 CAN to take these pictures, instead I came back the next day when it was his wife running the market and she was more than happy to let me take pictures free of charge! |
