Photographer's Note
Fisherman at lake Anehé.
Taken with the 200 mm, it gives a result as if it was a B&W photo. The foggy atmosphere takes the colors away and what rests is a view over the lake where you can see how many little boats and people just standing in the shallow water are fishing here.

Hello Gerrit,
A simple but interesting composition that shows how important this lake is to the local economy. The misty atmosphere is well evoked through this strange monotone effect.

Hi Gerrit,
your photos about Africa are an excellent documentary. In this image, almost a B/W, the only pity is the horizon line, otherwise the figures almost could give an impression of dangling in space.A photo almost minimalistic, but also very evocative.

Hello Gerrit,
A very unusual view, where the circumstances have produced an extraordinary composition looking like an artist's scetch. A few carefully "painted" details, almost monochrome.
I think it was courageous to upload such an unusual but sophisticated picture which may not immediately appeal to a majority of TE members.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Gerrit, beautiful and minimalistic composition, remember me my early mornings on the Zanzibar beaches, there isn't border between water and sky,all is grey and let space at a lot of imagination.Fantastic! Thanks for share, have a nice day,Luciano.

Bonjour Gerrit,
My best regards.
Daniel.

Hello,

Hi Guerrit
Interesting confusion between sky and sea.
The ambiance looks like the northen sea.
Good frame quality.
Best wishes while waiting the new year.
