As I said in previous postings, i am quiet positive about Angola's future, I think i have to, because the other scenario is doom and destruction. I also believe in positive thinking so...
Angola is a touristic highlight waiting to be discovered by the world once they get over the idea of bombs, mines, Marburg and Ebola and guerrilas. The war is really over in Angola, and the country is rapidly developing. Yes I know we are in Africa, but as said a negative approach will surely bring nothing.

This photo was taken in Quissama National Park about only 75 k south of the capital Luanda. During the war all wildlife was poached and eaten, but now operation 'Noah's Ark' migrates wildlife from Botswana and South Africa to Quissama. Quissama is still no Kruger, but when i was there last weekend I saw elephants, Ostriches, loads of all kind of antelopes, a very rich bird-life , animals i don't even know, just great.
Scenery at Quissama is just plainly breathtaking spectacular.

Prima Jan

Hello Jan, I remember I tried to visit Kissama in 2000. The civil war was not over but the park just received few elephants from another country you mentionned. I just had the opportunity to visit the Kwanza shore and the entrance of the park. Unfortunately, a frined of ours did not have his ID card and we had to go back to Luanda. I'm still dreaming I could go back there one day. Do you have additionnal shot from that park ?
