[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Okay, so this is like an open invitation to your workshoppers out there to go wild on this picture.

For some hours now i've been trying to work on it and get something done. But every second i worked on it I found i liked the original raw version best. This is how it is. feel the dust ! Workhops on this one will be higly appreciated. Who can set my mind into motion with an inspiring approach ?

well, the one reason you probably won't get too many WS is the size of the file you've posted - only 41967 bytes, meaning its already heavily compressed (you can see compression artefacts around the edges).

as far as the photo goes, I do like the truck that's half-hidden in the dust, I do like the colours. what I don't like is the fact that the photo seems to be somewhere half-way between showing two concrete women walking along this fairly difficult road, and showing a more abstract scene - "dedicated" to all women that carry heavy loads and never complain. if your intention was the first, then more detail of their faces should be visible, hopefully - to show what they feel, otherwise there's no "contact" between the viewer and the subject. if, however, your intention was the latter, then may be a different point of view - I keep thinking about a lower POV and more to the right - could've emphasised the distance the women have already walked, and that it hasn't been easy since all the dust would still be visible. but this is just thinking aloud :) as I said, already as it is, the photo is very illustrative, I just think you could improve the shot even further.

sorry for this somewhat lenghty comment, but then again - this photo made me stop and think.
best,
Kristine

hi,
the shot is a bit blured, but it it is a nice efect too.sometimes emotion is better than "standard" quality.

Yes, I can feel the dust. I like this alot just as it is.

saluti ,
Interesting wild country side image , with the typical red angolan soil.
Probably was an unique experience .
