Streetkids in Luanda.
Sometimes you meet these kids in some strange circumstances. This guy was rejected to be registered to vote because of his....short rasta hairdo.
Outside there was a bit of a row, and the photographer ended uo with his lens where you can still see it in the reflection of the kids sunglasses. |

This is a very nice close up. The guy looks good and very Luanda kid. I can see it was taken outside but I can not imagine what that big black thing is. Anyway, it is interesting and I am going to place it in the theme “Hidden self-portrait”.

Hello. Interesting play of glasses and mirrors... ;-)
Thank you for your visit to my guinea's photos.
Good luck in Africa!

Nice glossy & kitchy portrait. Well done King of the Bongo!

i like the way the subject is too close for comfort, but that you are still at a distance as you are unable to see his eyes. great portrait!
The feeling is right, very much like a Luanda street kid or a motorista, anybody wanting to make it fast. For one thing, the glossy sunglasses help pretend.
Reminds me of somebody I know here in Luanda, with very much the same attitude.
