Photographer’s Note

I am very sure this is not a pleasant picture, but I want to show the real life in Luanda, this place is one of the most important fish markets in Luanda visited by many people, low-class, mid-class and high-class.
When I was shooting this picture there were a group of boys ages varying from 25-35, and they spoke out loud -"These people only come here to take pictures!"...I know for a fact the problem is not only with the government, but also with their own people, they do not bother to live in between the rubbish, they do not complain and they do not do anything about it, they just contribute with the rubbish we see here...
