Cause TrekEarth is showing the world through photos i think we can not show only the paradisiac and imaginary dreamland photos. Therefore although i think this photo has nothing special in an artistic point of view i felt the need to post it to my travelogue to show the sad reality of Luanda's streets. Here we see a medical center in the background and right in front of it a big pile of garbage... Like this, all suburbs look the same, full of trash and rubbish all over. Luanda has support for about 800 thousand persons but in meanwhile according to data i've read it has about 3 million inhabitants....

Really good contribution to TE ! That's indeed that kind of scene which is the everyday life of people in Luanda...
Do you remember the exact place ? It reminds me something close to the President palace but I'm not sure...

Most of the time, we must "admit" the bads, in order to bring the goods up.
I wish TE managers could add one more category, "Environment", so we could store these photos in such an archive.
