In the Noth-wester part of Angola in the province of Malange, far away from everything you can find this magical place. Kaladula Waterfalls is the second biggest waterfall in Africa, only to be, just slightly, conquered by the Victoria Falls. Due to more than 30 years of war and devestation this wonder of nature is just pouring his water down day by day, without being seen been the world.
After a long journey we reached just in time to find the late afternoon sun play the rainbow-game in the waterfall.

I have a poster of this Angolan wonder hanging on a wall in my office, here in Australia. The only time I visited the water fall was in 1970 and at the time it was yet called “Quedas do Duque de Bragança”. There are a few other water falls in Angola, as the Dala water fall in the Lunda Sul Province, Cuemba in Bié Province, Ruacaná in Cunene Province, as Cachoeiras da Binga no Cuvo River in Quanza Sul Province, just to name the most important. Thanks for bringing good memories of a far away past. Well done.
Antonio
