Incredible building, looks like a typical example of not enough basics but plenty of luxury, ( not enough space to hang your washing but everyone has satellite tv ) ... at least that what it looks like. Really depressing. But the image is great

really intesting shot,incredible "comunication".

Lembra-me lá aonde é que está situado este prédio. A torre à direita parece-me ser a dos Serviços de Meteorologia de Angola, na cidade alta junto ao Palácio do Zedu (se é que ainda lá estão). Mas tirando isso, não consigo localizar melhor. Será junto aos Coqueiros? Enfim, aonde quer que seja, é triste, muito triste mesmo ver ao que Luanda chegou. Só conheço outra cidade assim, que é Yangon, capital de Myanmar (Birmânia). Por coincidência, este país é governado por uma junta militar ditatorial.

Hi Nelson,

This isn't even a 'bad' building when looking at Luanda! I have seen much much worse over there.

Not really a very interesting picture, but I like to see some pictures of Angola since I haven't been there for several years.

Whatever classification .. it speaks loudly .. louder than the imposing structure .. the ragged satellite dishes .. the laundry .. the dirt .. they all combine to say a great deal ..
