Hello fellow TE friends, been a while since I´ve posted anything here, I am busy sorting out my life after 10 years living in Cape Town, South Africa, but now back in Angola.
This picture was taken in one of the biggest suburbs of Luanda, it is called Cazenga, my father has a bakery and an ice factory right in the heart, my first day after 10 years I went to this place, it is a mess, when it rains you have to have a 4x4 to be able to move or you choose the same way as the young man in the picture.
I was in shock to see the water full of dirt and mud almost covering our car...nobody from the top cares to fix those streets, because they do not live there...

hi Nelson,
there are so many things in this image that speak so loudly .. it really strikes me how he is moving up against all the rest of the image falling down to the right against him .. evocative image that needs to be seen.
take care,
John
