This is a shot I took last year in the Province of Cuanza Sul. On the road from Luanda to Benguela we stped in this little village which, I do not remember the name, for a some beverages. I took it inside the car.

Cheers

this would often not work, but you managed to make the window a really cool frame around the motif. i like it a lot.

Hi Rolando,

It's interesting to see this from your carwindow and I like how the window makes a very nice frame. Good capture, thanks for sharing!

Greetings, Nel

Quite an interesting image Rolando...the contrast between the modern look of the car providing a natural border against the very basic housing is a good one...some great colour also.

You know??? This is a great picture. Not just about the frame that you made with the window (that's really good), but the colour of the sand is amazing.
Good picture Rolando.

Parabéns!

An interesting view Rolando. I actually like the framing created by the car window. Colors are excellent, especially the orange tones of the ground and composition is good also. The placement of the family on one side and the tire coming into the photo on the right add some interest to the village scene, anchoring both sides.

Good catch.
John

I love how the window has framed this. FANTASTIC COLOR!! WOW! And interesting to see these homes. TFS

hi rolando
this is what i call a great natural framing!!
an other world thru a window

well done

loic

Daniel

Hi Rolando!
Nice picture with a good "frame".Good point of view, nice colors...But unfortunately the sky is too much white ,but nice work!

I like the idea of using the car window to frame your photo. It gives the photo more depth and ads context. The sky seems to fade from blue to white, and the orange sand seems to do the same. I think that looks neat. The people sitting outside their home are essential. Nice capture.

Ryan

A little as if you were travelling through a tv-screen. A funny frame, original and providing style.
Well seen.

Hi Rolando,
I like this shot and composition with the window of car... Typical view and daily life scene for that part of Africa; I have seen very similar style of cottages in Zambia and Northern Namibia. Very good contrast between colours of the ground and the sky.
This is simple shot, but very interesting, remarkable...
Best regards from Poland,
Andrzej

Hi Rolando,

thank you for your comment to one of my Potosí images...i like the framing here as it gives a quasi voyeuristic look to this scene...like you wanted to keep the distance and not leave the car when taking this photo...cheers, arturo

bonjour,
les couleurs sont tres belles, tres africaines
l'idée de la fenetre me parait tres bonne telle un ecran pour une photo reportage.
belle composition
