Photographer’s Note

It's been some time since I posted here, bur now I'm back in the Netherlands for some time I have some time to look at my photos from Angola, this one i liked enough to put om my beloved TE.
On the way south from Luanda to Sumbe you'll pass along the coastside by this very peculiar landscape, which is called the 'Miradouro do Luna' , the Lunar Landscape.
I waited untill the sun set low enough to make the colours come out. 10 minutes later two corrupt policemen bribed me out of $ 20,- . That's Angola for 'ye...........

Today I adressed Gert's critique, being the photo cpuld be bigger. I know now hot to do it !

Lovely range of colours and textures Jan.It certainly looks like a lunar landscape.
How far away is the sea?

weird, great landscape. i really like the different colors and the texture. only i am not happy with the frame, as i find it a bit disturbing.

Great textures & colours. Looks like giant termite hills. A great work of nature. How big are these? some reference would have helped I guess. Fine shot!
